“One of the best evenings we’ve had for a long time – made us think.” – 50 Days, Adventure Women Speaker Series
“Her captivating photography and honest portrayal of her journey fascinated the audience. She is an inspiration to all.” – Mornington Peninsula Library.

Laura is a highly engaging speaker, passionate about inspiring others to lead their best lives and to foster a stronger connection with nature.
After working eight years in the corporate world she took time out to hike 3,000km solo down the length of New Zealand. Those five months turned out to be life changing, healing her of anxiety and giving her clarity about her future path, as well as the courage and self-belief to pursue it.
Her speaking career began in 2009 when she trained with Al Gore to be a Climate Presenter, educating people on the science of, and solutions to, climate change. Since then she’s gone on to inspire hundreds more people with her tales and lessons learned while hiking the wilds of New Zealand.
